With so much gratitude and respect for these opportunities & the Cru Cellars family, Rose then transitioned into the Distributor/Supplier side of the industry. She was given the chance to open up the Tampa Bay territory for a very small and very new, boutique and Miami-based distributor named Vine Craft – showcasing their old world, small production portfolio. While hosting a wine dinner in Tampa one evening, Rose was approached by Southern Wine & Spirits with the opportunity to share her knowledge and continue her wine crusade with the largest distributor in the country.
This opportunity allowed Rose to dive even deeper into her passion for wine education, where she graduated from the SWS Certified Wine & Spirits Professional program – graduating as Salutatorian and receiving the Rising Star Award. Working at SWS, Rose was awarded the opportunity to explore California’s Wine Country, as well as throughout the beautiful wine regions of France. With each trip came a deeper appreciation for the world of wine, and all those who shared her passion. After a short time as an on- premise sales representative, Rose accepted the Wine & Champagne Specialist position within the Pernod Ricard portfolio – covering all of Central Florida. It was this role that gave Rose the opportunity to truly connect with and educate some of the finest restaurants, hotels and establishments throughout the state.
With every opportunity, experience, relationship and sip of wine came an eternal sense of gratitude and appreciation. In 2016, Rose transitioned into the Real Estate industry, where she continued to build on her skill sets and create new opportunities for herself and her family. After a few years, a significant number of life lessons and Covid, Rose took a step back from it all to pour her heart into her new role as a Mom. Now, she’s leaning back into her passion for wine and helping people, while embracing her new role as a full-time #MommaSomm. Today, along with providing her clients the highest level of customer service relating to ALL things wine, she is also currently studying for the Society of Wine Educators : Certified Specialist of Wine certification.
